Monthly Tip: Guitar Humidifiers
Winter weather here in the north country can be pretty extreme, so you should consider a humidifier. Dry heat can wreak havoc on your guitar, and dry out the wood. The best solution is to use a humidifier. The normal procedure is to dampen a sponge-like material (DampIt, Keysor) and keep this in the guitar when not using it. This helps with top splitting and lifting frets. We carry humidifiers, so we invite you to stop by with your guitar. We can show you how to set it up and use it.
